About Theatre Thoughts
Theatre Thoughts was born from a passion for sharing thoughts that promote and respond to the changing world of Australian theatre. Avoiding the essay-styled critiques of other writers, Theatre Thoughts aims to do what it says on the box, share with you our thoughts. Clear and simple!

We are growing day by day, with a dedicated Sydney and Melbourne team. In 2019 our site began by reaching 1,500 theatre fans, in 2021 to just over 23,700 visitors in 2022. With a renewed focus on highlighting voices from all corners of our community, we're on the lookout for diverse writers to join our team. If that sounds like you, and you want to see more theatre, contact us now!
Theatre Thoughts acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which we work and pay our respects to Indigenous Elders past, present and emerging. We recognise that sovereignty was never ceded and acknowledge the ongoing efforts to recognise those who have come before.
